Anti-Aging
Dr. Nieper was able to demonstrate that the primary
component in Longevity®, serves as a mineral transporter
and decreases cellular membrane permeability by sealing
the free-lipid pore sites of our human cell walls. Free-lipid
pores are defective pores that permit unwanted agents
to penetrate the cell membrane with toxins. "Therefore,
Longevity® helps protect cells." (3)
Technical Information:
In 1939-41, the world-famous biochemist, Erwin Chargaff
reported on 2-aminoethyl phosphoric acid (2-AEP), the
primary component in Longevity®. He identified
it as an important component in the structure of the
cell membrane. In accordance with the cell membrane
model of the Swiss scientist Buchi in 1952, Longevity®
is integrated into the cell membrane in a way that it
is localized on the outside of the external cell membrane.
Longevity® mainly integrates at the entrance spots
into the free lipid pore sites. From the studies done
by Dr. Pressman, New York, we know today that Longevity®
is also part of the neurotransmitters, which are substances
necessary for conducting an electrical charge to and
within biological structures, such as the myelin sheath
membrane. Therefore, not only is the 2-AEP primary ingredient
in Longevity® a bio-chemical component of all
cell membranes, it also has the ability to form a complex
with minerals and transport them to the cell wall.
During Dr. Nieper's lecture at a medical convention
at the famous Waldorf Astoria Hotel Grand Ballroom in
Manhattan, NY, in June 1987, he proposed to name the
discovered metabolic salt primary ingredient (2-AEP)
found in Longevity®, the cell's "Membrane
Integrity Factor".
"It is obvious that Longevity® is essential
to retain charges by lining calcium, magnesium and potassium,
on the membrane surface of the cells to build or rebuild
cell walls." Reports of the resulting change is
extremely significant. The cell membranes can function
similar to an electrical condenser, the difference being
that the areas continuing the charge do not consist
of metal as they do in technology, but of biologically
retained (solidly bound) mineral linings. "Longevity®
is therefore indispensable in supporting the condenser
function of the cell membrane…a life-deciding
factor." (1)
Longevity® decreases water solubility and the
permeability of the cellular membrane to foreign substances.
Longevity® increases membrane integrity by sealing
membrane pores, thus protecting the healthy cell. As
such, the 2-AEP salts in Longevity® provide an
immune-protective effect, which was demonstrated in
extensive electron microscopic research by Dr. Moenninghoff
and his collaborators at the University of Muenster,
Germany (1971)." (2) In 1971 - 72, Dr. Moenninghoff
provided evidence confirming how the cell membrane's
free-lipid pore sites could be successfully sealed with
Longevity®.
In studies, Nieper found that Longevity® plays
an important role in binding fatty acids to peptide
chains. The incorporation of carrier molecules that
transport active inorganic electrolytes (i.e. mineral
ions) through the cell membrane, depends on the peptide
layer of the cell membrane.
The 2-AEP found in Longevity® functions as an
electrolyte carrier. It also transports minerals such
as calcium, magnesium and potassium into the cells where
it may be metabolized. Longevity® introduced into
the blood stream produces a specific calcium, magnesium
and potassium hydrolysis of the lipid AEP peptide complex
since AEP exists only at the intracellular level, and
is directed from the blood stream toward the membrane
and intracellular space
In 1967-68, Dr. Nieper began publishing information
on this substance in the French journal, titled Agressologie.
He refers to Longevity® as "one of the most
important and effective mineral transport substances
